San Luis Obispo police arrested a man for residential burglary Sunday morning.
At about 4 a.m. Sunday the police department got a call from a woman who said an unknown man was inside her home. The woman said the man was walking around her home and coming closer to where she was. A San Luis Obispo Police Department press release said she yelled at the man, startling him, which caused him to run away from the house through the unlocked front door.
Officer found Dennis Hickey close to the home.
The press release said after Hickey was positively identified as the burglary San Luis Obispo police arrested him for residential burglary, being under the influence of a controlled substance and violating his parole.
