Santa Barbara police seek to identify car burglary suspect

The Santa Barbara Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a man who investigators say was involved in several auto burglaries at a downtown parking garage.

The burglaries happened on August 23 in the city parking garage at Chapala and West Canon Perdido St.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance driving a Ford Flex with paper plates. 

Police say he was working with another man, described as being in his early 20s, Hispanic, clean-shaven, with short black hair, acne scars on his face, and a large nodule on his forehead.
