The Allan Hancock College football team held a flag football clinic for Special Olympics athletes Friday.
Football players helped the athletes work on their passing and catching skills. The team also taught the athletes about the fundamentals about football.
Flag Football is being offered to Special Olympics athletes in Southern California starting this fall. It will become an official sport next year.
