Labor Day brings thousands of visitor to the Central Coast, but some of those visitors leave behind piles of trash.
Last year, community volunteers picked up more than 100 pounds of trash at Avila Beach.
Volunteers plan to host another community clean-up day on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in Avila Beach.
For those interested, meet the clean-up group at the lifeguard headquarters in Avila Beach. Organizers are asking volunteers to bring their own gloves and trash pickers.
