A cyclist and car collided on Highway 1 Monday morning near Hearst Castle.
According the CHP, the crash happened at about 8:20 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Highway 1 and San Simeon Rd., near the entrance to the castle.
The cyclist collided with a car in the southbound lane of the highway. He was knocked unconscious by the crash but first responders say he eventually came to.
CHP dispatchers say Highway 1 is not closed and traffic is moving normally.
