Olive Garden is celebrating the Labor Day holiday by honoring first responders.
Monday marks the 17th consecutive year that Olive Garden has hosted this event.
More than 850 Olive Garden restaurants nationwide will deliver a "thank you" lunch to select first responder organizations in their community.
Through this nationwide event, organizers say more than 12,000 meals have been served since 2002.
First responders will enjoy signature Italian dishes, like fettuccine alfredo and sphagetti and meatballs.
The Central Coast has two Olive Garden locations, one in San Luis Obispo, and one in Santa Maria.
