A vehicle fire was put out near the beach east of Carpinteria Tuesday morning.
The Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District reports crews were on scene at the Rincon Beach parking lot before 8:30 a.m.
Fire officials say the SUV fire was put out quickly and the cause is under investigation.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
