Firefighters were responding to reports of an apartment fire that broke out in Paso Robles Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, traffic was being diverted in the area of Niblick Road and Spring Street due to the fire, which reportedly broke out at about 12:15 p.m.
A large plume of black smoke could be seen in the area.
