Police have made an arrest in connection with multiple car and home vandalisms on the east side of Lompoc.
The Lompoc Police Department says officers responded to the 400 block of North First Street at about 1:10 a.m. Thursday to reports of a window at a home in the area being broken out.
Once on scene, officers say they discovered multiple homes and vehicles in the neighborhood had broken windows.
Police say after more vandalism reports came in that morning, they were able to identify a suspect who was reportedly hiding in the area.
Nicholas Jones, 18, was taken into custody on suspicion of felony vandalism.
Police say more than 15 windows were vandalized, along with other property.
