Four people were displaced from their home after a fire broke out Saturday morning in a Lompoc apartment complex.

The Lompoc Fire Department reports the fire started in a second-story bedroom of an apartment on the 700 block of North G Street and damaged the entire second floor.

The flames were knocked down within about 20 minutes, according to fire officials.

Everyone was able to make it out of the apartment and no injuries were reported.

The Red Cross is assisting the two adults and two children displaced by the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
