Cal Trans is starting a project to repair and resurface the bike lanes on State Route 246 from east of Alamo Pintado Road to west Refugio Road Monday.
The project is estimated to take a few weeks to complete.
While Cal Trans is working on the project, the bicycle path will detour to the shoulder of State Route 246.
The project is estimated to cost $180,000 and is expected to be complete in October.
