Early Sunday morning a 37-year-old man walked into Marian Medical Center with severe non-life threatening stab wounds in his torso.
Officers investigated and discovered the location where the incident occurred was in the 700 Block of S. Curryer.
The Santa Maria Police Department later identified 37-year-old Ramon Gonzalez as the suspect.
Gonzalez was arrested and booked into the Santa Barbara County jail for his involvement in the crime.
