The Cuesta College ceramics program is preparing for its fifth annual clay stomp this week.
Student, faculty and locals are invited to come to campus to help mix up more than 6,000 pounds of clay with their feet.
The clay will be used by students in the ceramics classes this semester.
Organizers hope the family-friendly event will encourage people to learn more about ceramics and consider signing up for future classes.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday near the cafeteria on the San Luis Obispo campus.
