The newly-expanded Woodstock’s held a small reopening party Wednesday night.

About 150 people attended the event at the San Luis Obispo location. It was held in the restaurant’s new “backyard patio,” which was created to house larger parties and increase the restaurant’s serving capacity.

The restaurant was closed for about two weeks during the summer while owners remodeled the inside space, added two bars, an arcade, and more seating. They say they want to be able to host more community events now that the space is bigger.

On Wednesday night, the restaurant’s new oven was cranking out 150 pizzas an hour.

“I think they’ve done a really nice job designing it to where it really reflects what we are all here for,” said Kristi Hogue, who attended Wednesday’s event.

Woodstock’s will host another party Thursday tonight, which the public is invited to enjoy. It runs from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be an extended happy hour with half-priced pitchers and samples of the latest addition to Woodstock’s menu, the “All ‘choked Up” pizza.
