Santa Maria police are investigating a hit and run crash that sent a person to the hospital Wednesday night.
Officers say they were called out to E. Tunnel St. and Vine St. just before 9 p.m. where a pedestrian was hit by a passing car.
The pedestrian was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital. Police are still searching for the driver.
