People in Cambria might notice some smoke today, as firefighters burn about 100 piles of brush along Cambria Pines Road.
The burn was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was pushed back to Wednesday because of the weather conditions.

CAL FIRE worked with the San Luis Obispo County Fire Safe Council over the past few months to cut and remove vegetation in danger of catching fire. The old brush and trimmings were put into piles along the roadway, to make it easier for firefighters to burn them.
The goal is to prevent future brush fires in the area.
