UPDATE (6:10 p.m.) – PG&E says power has been restored in the Cambria, San Simeon, and Hearst Castle area.
At least 1,500 people lost power in Cambria because of two separate power outages Wednesday afternoon.
According to the PG&E outages page, 1,253 customers lost power just before 3:30 p.m. Crews do not have an estimated time they expect to restore power and are on scene assessing the cause.
The second outage occurred minutes later and impacted 386 people. PG&E has assigned a crew to the outage site to restore power as quickly as possible.
PG&E has not given a suspected cause for the outages.
