Travelers can get to Oakland and Las Vegas from Santa Barbara Airport starting this week.
The first Contour Airlines flight to Oakland International Airport will take off at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday. A one-way ticket costs $79. Contour will provide daily service to Oakland.
On Thursday, the airline will start service to Las Vegas out of SBA with one-way tickets starting at $59. There will be five Contour flights to Las Vegas each week.
Contour will fly 30-seat regional jets to both locations and offer one free checked bag with every fare.
