The Frightmare Forest opened Friday at Allan Hancock College.
Tickets are $10 per person. It is open select nights of the week. This is the fourth year of the Frightmare Forest.
The money helps pay for the basketball program.
Visitors can choose how frightened they want to get. A red bracelet signifies participants don’t want to get too scared, while a green bracelet indicates someone is ready for a scare.
Organizers say more than a thousand people showed up at the forest this year.
The Frightmare Forest is open October 19, 20, 26, 27, and 31 from 7-10 p.m.
