The Central Coast was getting swept with some gusty conditions early Monday morning. By about 3:00 a.m., Pismo Beach was already reaching close to 20 mile-per-hour winds. This will be the trend throughout most of the day. Northeasterly winds ranging from about 15-25 mph will continue throughout the morning before increasing to a range of 20-30 mph, which will carry out from the afternoon through the evening.

Daytime highs will be mild Monday. Temperatures at the beaches will stay close to the mid-60s to low 70s, while the coastal valleys and beaches will mostly be in the mid-70s to low 80s.

These temperatures are expected to heat up again this week as offshore flow strengthens. However, this will keep skies clear throughout the afternoon hours, particularly on Halloween, which will make for ideal trick-or-treat weather.
