Pismo Beach city staff will discuss the future of Alex Bar-B-Q Tuesday after the building was accidentally demolished during a renovation project.
The City Council has been considering the next steps. The building was torn down after a communication error.
In October, the Planning Commission asked the council to revoke building permits for the company that was contracted to renovate Alex Bar-BQ, but no decision was ever made.
Now, the City Council is considering a development agreement on if, and how, the building will be rebuilt.
The meeting is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. at the council chambers.
