SLO County libraries offer homework help

San Luis Obispo County is launching a new program to offer on-demand tutoring to anyone who needs it.

The county library is offering Brainfuse HelpNow. It’s a virtual tutoring center that can connect people to live tutors online. They can work through quizzes and get help with math, reading, writing, science, and social studies.

The program is meant to tailor studies to young students studying for the SAT, as well as non-traditional students looking to go back to school.

“We are really excited about it, and we’re hoping that our community takes advantage of it. I know homework isn’t fun, so it’s nice to know that there’s homework help just a click away,” said Aracelli Astorga, Coastal Region Librarian.

The program is accessible through San Luis Obispo County libraries with a library card.
