A jury found a man guilty on Thursday of a gang-related robbery in the parking lot of the Costco store in San Luis Obispo nearly one year ago.

The San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s office said that a jury found Joshua Logan Myers, 19, guilty of second-degree felony robbery in connection with a criminal street gang. All charges are felonies.

Myers was convicted of using a firearm to rob a mobile marijuana delivery service in the Costco parking lot on December 11, 2017.

Myers is due in court on January 17 for sentencing.

The DA’s Office confirms that he is the younger brother of Dystiny Myers, whose body was found beaten and burned in 2010 at the age of 15.
