San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Ian Parkinson and retired San Luis Obispo Police Lieutenant Bill Proll are planning a party before carrying the Law Enforcement Torch in the Special Olympics.

The party, entitled “Bill and Ian’s Excellent Abu Dhabi Adventure Party,” has been set for February 9. A time and place are yet to be announced.

Parkinson and Proll will help carry the Special Olympics flame through the United Arab Emirates before the Opening Ceremony on March 14.

The two are representing California in the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
