Morro Bay lights up for the holidays

Santa’s House is now open on Morro Bay’s Embarcadero.

Santa will be out every night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the chess board. The house is decorated with presents.

KSBY caught up with some kids who stopped by during the opening night Friday to tell Santa they’d been good this year.

“Well, I want a hoverboard, but for kids, and then I want a watch, a pretty one. Then I want a bath bomb kit and a slime kit,” said Maleah Taylor as she visited Santa.

Santa’s House is open through December 15. It’s free to take photos, but there is a fee for picture frames.

Dozens also gathered around City Park for the annual tree lighting in Morro Bay Friday. Volunteers handed out hot cider and cookies, and Santa made an appearance. He will be in attendance for a breakfast at the community center on December 15.
