An open house is scheduled for Saturday, December 8 from 3 to 6 p.m. with music, food, entertainment and crafts for children.

“Luckily, we’re a degree of separation away from the people who lost their lives, but when you have people who are contractors who have lost every tool, there’s a lot of work to be done and no tools? Think about it,” said Damon Cardwell, an art contributor at The Place.

The Place is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
