Seniors on the Central Coast received some early presents Wednesday.
The people who work with the Santa to a Senior program packaged gifts and distributed them at the Oceano Senior Center and Nipomo Senior Center.
Gifts were donated by several organizations including Milestone Tavern and All State Insurance in Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria.
“We take them to the Senior Center, and then they distribute them out for the people when they receive their meals, who can’t get out. They’ve come to really expect a really wonderful Christmas through this program,” said Carol Rose, a volunteer for Home Instead.
The program has been around for 15 years.
