UPDATE (12/26/18) – Santa Barbara City Fire officials say the fire burned about two acres and was extinguished in less than 90 minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
(12/25/18) – A small vegetation fire that broke out in Santa Barbara was extinguished on Christmas night.
The fire was located on Sycamore Canyon Road near Las Alturas.
It was extinguished shortly after 9:30 p.m.

The fire is out and crews are still mopping up some areas. No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged. Mutual aid resoursces have been released. Thank you Merry Christmas.
