California Highway Patrol released its list of how many people they pulled over in California over the past five days during their Christmas maximum enforcement period.
CHP said at least 47 people were killed in car crashed throughout the state.
It said officers made 1,166 arrests for driving under the influence in the 102 hours holiday enforcement effort.

At least 47 people were killed in collisions throughout California during the recent Christmas Maximum Enforcement Period. In addition, throughout the 102-hour holiday enforcement effort, the CHP made 1,166 arrests for driving under the influence.
