UPDATE (7:06 p.m.) – According to PG&E’s power outage map, power is now restored for all customers impacted by an outage in Paso Robles.
The outage originally affected more than 7800 customers.
It was restored to all but about 150 customers within roughly 15 minutes, however, all power has since been restored.
(ORIGINAL STORY) – A brief power outage impacted thousands of PG&E customers Thursday evening.
The outage was first reported around 5:50 p.m. and lasted roughly 15 minutes.
The outage impacted the downtown area and spanned all the way to Lake Nacimiento.

At one point, PG&E’s outage map reported 7,879 customers were affected.
As of the last update, PG&E’s outage map listed several smaller outages impacting 151 customers.
Power is expected to be restored between 9:45 and 10 p.m.
The cause of the outage is under investigation. PG&E says a crew was assigned to assess what happened.
