11 people have applied to fill an empty seat on the Grover Beach City Council.
On Monday night, council members will consider appointing one of those candidates to the seat.
The seat was left open after Jeff Lee was elected as mayor.
Monday’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Grover Beach City Hall Council Chamber, which is located at 154 S. Eighth Street.
