The new Sprouts Farmers Market store in San Luis Obispo is set to open later this year.
The company announced Tuesday that the store, located in the Madonna Plaza shopping center, is one of nine new stores scheduled to open across the U.S. in the second quarter of 2019.
The San Luis Obispo Sprouts store will take over the former Forever 21/Gottschalks building. Renovations have been underway there for some time.
The company says the San Luis Obispo location is one of three new stores that “will feature Sprouts’ newest operational and design enhancements that highlight department destinations and promote customer engagement throughout the store.”
The exact opening date or information on hiring has not yet been announced.
Sprouts, which has more than 300 stores in 19 states, “specializes in fresh, natural and organic products at prices that appeal to everyday grocery shoppers.
