The fire department said three engine companies, a truck company, a heavy rescue company and a Battalion Chief are on scene assisting in the rescue. The Santa Barbara Police Department is also assisting first responders.
The Santa Barbara Fire Department wants to remind people to stay away from the edge when walking the preserve or near cliff-sides.
