Plans for a mixed-use development on Tank Farm Road in San Luis Obispo are moving forward.
On Tuesday, the San Luis Obispo City Council voted to rezone the property at 650 Tank Farm Road to allow for a mixed-use project, which could include residential and commercial buildings.
The project would be located near the intersection of Broad Street and Tank Farm Road, near MINDBODY and the Marigold Shopping Center.
Director of Community Development for San Luis Obispo, Michael Codron, says the city is still waiting for detailed plans to be submitted.
Once those plans are approved, the applicant is expected to submit construction drawings and get the proper building permits. Codron says it is unlikely construction would begin before 2020.
