A train was delayed in Carpinteria Thursday as authorities searched for a suspect.
Pacific Surfliner first tweeted about the incident just after 6 p.m.
The tweet said Train 7777 was delayed in an area just north of Carpinteria while police searched for a suspect who was trying to avoid being captured near the train tracks.
In a second tweet, Pacific Surfliner said the train was moving again but was approaching Santa Barbara 45 minutes later than planned.
No other details were released.
