Highway 1 at Mud Creek and Paul’s Slide will reopen Wednesday.
Caltrans says storms are no longer a threat in the Big Sur area.
Caltrans crews have already assessed the areas that were closed to ensure there was no damage.
Those sections of the highway are scheduled to reopen by 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Both areas are prone to landslides, and Caltrans has been temporarily closing the highway regularly as storms move through.
