A section of Highway 1 in Guadalupe was closed Tuesday night due to flooding.
Caltrans tweeted just after 10 p.m. that the highway was closed in both directions at Oso Flaco Road near Guadalupe.
Drivers are being asked to use caution in the area and take another route.

Further north, Highway 1 is closed at Mud Creek and Paul’s Slide near Big Sur. Caltrans closed the highway in both areas at 5 p.m. Tuesday in anticipation of the storm. Both spots are prone to landslides.
