Pillsbury recall

A nationwide recall has been issued for a certain type of all purpose flour.

Pillsbury’s parent company, Hometown Food Company, issued a voluntary recall for more than 12,000 cases of Pillsbury Unbleached All Purpose Flour products.

The five-pound bags that are affected in the recall could potentially be at risk for Salmonella contamination.

The recalled lots contain Best If Used By dates of April 19, 2020, and April 20, 2020.

The products were distributed through a limited number of nationwide retailers, including Publix and Winn-Dixie, which don’t have locations in California. It is unclear if the products were distributed at other retailers.

Consumers who purchased the product are being urged not to consume them. You can return them to the point of purchase for a full refund.

There are no reports of any illnesses.
