Paso Robles police to host orientation for Community Volunteer Program

The Paso Robles Police Department is looking for volunteers.

The community can learn about duties, responsibilities, training, and requirements for the department’s Community Volunteer Program during a public orientation Tuesday evening.

The orientation starts at 6:30 p.m. at the police department’s EOC Conference room, at 900 Park Street.

The department is looking for men and women who are at least 21 years old, in good physical condition, and who can volunteer for at least 10 hours a month.

Volunteers come from a diverse background and include people who are still working, as well as retirees.
