Flights to Dallas from the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport are starting next week.
The American Airlines direct flight will be held daily starting April 2.
The new path was announced back in December,
It will open up 89 new one-stop connections.
The SLO County Regional Airport also offers flights on United and Alaska Airlines to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Seattle and Denver.
