Clouds and cooler temps with some shower chances to close the week

Posted

The forecast is a bit of a challenge the next few days, onshore flow is producing clouds and cooler temps. However the tough thing to nail down is rain chances. It is no slam dunk because most of the energy for the next few systems is aimed north of us. That said there is plenty of moisture supply and a few disturbances to move thru between now and Saturday.

The best forecast looks to be a partly to mostly cloudy forecast with night and morning low clouds and areas of drizzle at times. I also think the sun will peek out as well. Thursday night into Friday I think there is a better chance for some showers or heavier drizzle. I doubt anyone sees a quarter inch. Saturday we could have some lingering moisture for some clouds and maybe a shower or two but we should be working our way out of it.

Sunday high pressure builds in and Monday looks strongly offshore and warm. We’ll have to watch SW flow for clouds. Looks like they are north in this period of the forecast but certainly close enough to watch.
