Police nab man suspected of breaking into Santa Barbara business, hiding in the ceiling

Santa Barbara Police officers arrested a man who they say broke into a business and was still hiding inside early Sunday morning.

Police say they responded to an alarm call at a local business Sunday. When they arrived, they found that the man was hiding in the ventilation rafters of the ceiling.

K9 Officer ‘Loki’ responded and assisted police in finding the man. Santa Barbara City Fire also responded to the incident.

Early this morning, grave yard officers responded to an alarm call at a local business. Upon arrival and further investigation, officers discovered a male broke into the business and was potentially still inside. K9 “Loki” responded to assist and located the suspect hiding in the ventilation rafters of the ceiling. Santa Barbara City Fire responded to assist and the suspect was safely taken into custody on the roof of the business.
