The Santa Maria City Council will revisit an ordinance on H-2A housing Tuesday night.

Council members will discuss an ordinance regarding H-2A housing in residential areas.

Those who already live in hotel or motel facilities would be grandfathered in under the ordinance.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Santa Maria City Council Chambers.

Tuesday could be the final vote on the issue, according to city officials.

If adopted, the city says it could change the character of residential districts, depending on what the council does.
