UPDATE (7:40 a.m.) – CHP has reopened one lane of the Turnpike Rd. off-ramp on Highway 101 southbound in Goleta. Officers are working to open all lanes shortly.

California Highway Patrol officers have shut down the Turnpike Rd. off-ramp on Highway 101 southbound in Goleta because of a truck fire.
According to the CHP incident page, a truck was reported on fire at the top of the off-ramp just after 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Officers quickly decided to close the off-ramp. CHP has not been able to provide any further details. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
