The Paso Robles Municipal Airport is preparing for the arrival of some historic aircraft next week.

Five WWII bomber and fighter aircraft will fly in on Monday.

It’s part of the Wings of Freedom tour that travels the nation as a tribute to the crews who flew and maintained the planes during the war.

The tour will feature the B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator, B-25 Mitchell, P-40 Warhawk, and P-51 Mustang.

Tours of the plane cost $15 for adults and $5 for kids.

There are also 30-minute or hour-long flights available in one of the planes, but the cost ranges from $400 to $3,200.

The Wings of Freedom Tour is celebrating 30 years of sharing American aviation history.
