California Highway Patrol closed the slow lane off Highway 101 and the Highway 58 offramp towards Santa Margarita Tuesday morning.
They say this closure could cause traffic delays.
At 3:15 a.m. California Highway Patrol reported a semi truck hit a guardrail and went partially in the ditch.
CHP says the guardrail needs to be cut away from the vehicle in order for it to be towed.
They couldn’t say how long the lane will be closed.
