It is hard to come up with weather that makes everyone happy but this weekend will probably produce fewer complaints. Other than some patchy night and morning marine clouds and some passing high clouds, there looks to be plenty of sun on the way this weekend.

Temperatures across the interior will warm slightly through Saturday as high pressure across the Southwest strengthens.
At upper levels, there is a jet stream trough over the Pac NW and high pressure centered over New Mexico. The Central Coast is right in the middle.

High pressure strengthens just a bit over the weekend causing inland temps to warm a little. Some high clouds later in the weekend are possible with the remnants of Alvin, a tropical system in the Pacific. No rain is expected.
Some locally gusty Sundowner winds are possible across southern Santa Barbara county each evening. Looks breezy to windy but probably under advisory criteria.
No big changes into the middle of next week but then models disagree on if there will be a warming or cooling trend after that.
For Monday and Tuesday, the marine layer clouds will remain rather limited. For Wednesday and Thursday, more marine cloud cover at the coast is probable.
