Highway 1 along the Big Sur coast is closed on Wednesday morning as crews work on overnight rock slides in multiple locations.
The closure is in effect from Ragged Point Inn in San Luis Obispo County, stretching one mile south of Deetjen's Big Sur Inn.
According to Caltrans, there is no current estimate for reopening. We will continue to share any updates as they become available.
