The U.S. Geological Survey reported Saturday a magnitude 3.3 earthquake near Hollister shortly after 9:30 a.m.
Data from the USGS show the earthquake occurred 12.5 miles northwest of Hollister and approximately 18 miles west of Salinas.
According to the USGS, there have been no earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby in the last 10 days.
Officials say there have been no injuries reported after the earthquake.
