Magnitude 4.0 earthquake hits San Bernardino County Saturday morning

A magnitude 4.0 earthquake hit San Bernardino County shortly after 11:30 a.m. Saturday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

According to the agency's preliminary report, the earthquake hit nearly 14 miles northeast of Barstow and about 43 miles northeast of Victorville.

It is not yet known if there have been any injuries or damages reported as a result of the earthquake.
